All
PCB Disposal drivers have been trained
regarding protective equipment and it's use,
TDG Act, Occupational Health & Safety, spill cleanup procedures,
emergency response measures, fork truck operations, WHMIS and
the proper completion of manifest. Drivers also attend PCB seminars
twice a year to re-familiarize themselves regarding relevant
topics such as environmental impact and health and safety issues
relating to PCBs and other chlorinated hydrocarbons such as
dibenzofurans and dioxins which can be encountered in site remediation
following PCB fires.

PCB
Disposal has several PCB transportation vehicles for safely
moving PCBs from one place to another. Tanker trucks haul bulk
liquids such as oils, askarels and solvents, vans transport
drummed solids and liquids, double drop-decks are used for transporting
transformers of virtually any size and smaller cube vans and
5-ton vans are used for picking up smaller quantities of PCBs
on "milk-runs". All wastes are transported to our
transfer station for reduction, recovery and/or destruction.
